Toyo Form
Frida Mälarborn och Kristoffer Hoshino are the Swedish design duo Toyo Form. Both are educated at HDK in Göteborg and all their products are made by hand.
Describe your design: We strive for functional design with a playful touch. The products are handmade with industrial products as ideal.
When did you decide to be designer? We think design is a too tight concept and rather use the Swedish word “formgivare” since we are part of the whole process from design to manufacturing. We have always been interested in design and the decision to start Toyo Form grew from a will to work as a team. To be a craftsman is a lonlely profession.
